Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining Katz Properties in 2012, Josh was Chief Operating Officer of Silverstone Property Group in New York City. Josh built and managed Silverstone’s asset management and construction teams to support the company’s growth of properties under management from 88 to over 600 apartments in under two years. While at Silverstone, he was responsible for a portfolio of over 30 assets in New York City, Long Island and Texas.
At Katz Properties, Josh oversees management of the company’s entire portfolio of retail assets and directs the operation and continued development of corporate policies and procedures. He is also responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of an improved technology initiative for the company and all of its properties.
Josh began his career in the real estate industry at Roseland Property Company of Short Hills, New Jersey, in 2001, where he managed over $300 Million of ground-up retail and residential development in New York City and Jersey City. His responsibilities in this capacity included oversight of entitlements, market analysis, design development, legal and financial planning, construction scheduling, marketing and sales and retail leasing. He also managed the technology strategy for the company’s entire apartment portfolio, which exceeded $4 Billion in value.
Josh has been a featured speaker at the national Broadband Properties Summit and the annual NJ Apartment Association convention. He holds a B.A. and B.S. from Rutgers University and is an active member of ICSC.
